The City of Bath was first awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in 1987 for its historical reflection of human development and also in recognition of its unique natural environment.
In 2021 the city was given a second inscription on the World Heritage list, as one of the Great Spa towns of Europe. These assets have brought people to enjoy the glories of this stunning location and cityscape for 2000 years. Time in this uniquely special city is a must for any discerning visitor to the UK.
